- Below is the preview for WWE’s “Best Pay-Per-View Matches of the Year 2009-2010″ which comes out on May 18th and is a three-disc set.

The pinnacle for every sports entertainer is to appear on pay-per-view and put on the best match. For the first time ever on home video, the WWE Universe can enjoy the best matches in one home video collection. The stars of Raw, SmackDown, and ECW present the greatest bouts of the year, from longtime Pay-Per-View standards WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble, as well as newly themed events, including Breaking Point, Hell in a Cell, Bragging Rights, TLC, and Elimination Chamber.

- As noted earlier, WWE will be inducting MLB star and actor Bob Uecker into the Hall of Fame this year. Uecker will be inducted by NBC Universal Sports & Olympics chairman Dick Ebersol. Ebersol is the one who helped launch WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event years ago on NBC.

- Criss Angel noted on Twitter that he was supposed to do a trick in the ring on RAW last week but it was canceled a few days before the show for his safety. Angel said that WWE was very kind to him and noted that he would be doing the trick meant for RAW on the upcoming season 6 of Mindfreak.

- The February 26th episode of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown scored a 2.0 rating with 3,443,000 viewers.

- Linda McMahon’s senate campaign got some bad publicity this weekend after a story that came out noted Vince McMahon’s 47-foot yacht docked in Boca Raton, Florida is named “Sexy Bitch.” The Hearst newspapers in Connecticut ran a story on the senate candidates and issued a list of questions to the various candidates, which Linda McMahon did not answer. Linda’s opponents are now trying to make her out to be someone who is hiding from the public and the media.

- IGN has a new interview with WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper. Piper says when he asked Vince McMahon why he was picked to induct Wendi Richter into this year’s Hall of Fame class, Vince said, “You’re the only one alive.” Vince was presumably talking about people still alive from the days when Richter was active.

Eric Bischoff ripped The Honky Tonk Man on his Facebook page. “Washed up douche bag dying to become relevant,” Bischoff wrote. “HTM…WalMart called. They said you can have your job bag if you promise to leave the dead gimmick behind.”

Moments later, Honky responded by writing: “F— you, Bischoff. I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. You made those comments on (Bubba The Love Sponge’s radio show) without even knowing Jeff (Jarrett) called me up. You couldn’t hold (Vince) McMahon’s jock strap. 1.0 (rating). Ouch.”
