According to Variety, George Tillman Jr. (Notorious) is in negotiations to direct Faster, which will star Dwayne Johnson. Johnson will play an ex-con, who is looking to avenge the murder of his brother. Phil Joanou (The Gridiron Gang) was originally set to direct, but backed out of the project a few months ago. CBS films plans to start production in 2010.
