Hilary Duff (A Cinderella Story, Cheaper by the Dozen 2) is joining CW’s Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc this fall, according to EW.com.

The actress/pop star will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up being roommates with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

Duff is scheduled to debut in this season’s second episode, slated to air in September.
