Leonardo Dicaprio’s ‘Slasher’ Held By Police

A woman accused of slashing movie star Leonardo DiCaprio at a Hollywood party in 2005 has been arrested in Canada.
Aretha Wilson is being held by Canadian officials for extradition to the U.S, according to a police source. Wilson is alleged to have attacked the Titanic star after approaching him at a party thrown by producer Rick Salomon in four years ago.
DiCaprio - who told police he recognized Wilson as a friend’s ex-girlfriend - walked away from the 39 year old, who then allegedly hit him in the neck and head with a glass. The attack left DiCaprio needing 17 stitches - 10 to his ear and seven to his neck.
An arrest warrant was issued for Wilson a month later, on one count of assault with a deadly weapon. She avoided detection for years, but came to police attention in 2008 when she was found guilty of assaulting her ex-boyfriend Wyatt Cote and was given a suspended sentence and two years probation.
Wilson was arrested on Monday.
