Midnight Screenings Give Terminator Salvation a Nice Start

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Wednesday midnight screenings of Terminator Salvation brought in $3 million, and so far the film has made $13.3 million. Warner Bros. did not disclose how many theatres had the midnight showing, but when X-Men Origins: Wolverine debuted May 1st, they had 1,595 midnight runs and made $5 million. Watchmen made $4.6 million back in March for its midnight showings.
Terminator Salvation is projected to make $70 million over the Memorial Day weekend.
