According to Variety, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has new life. While the movie has left Warner Bros., Mattel is currently finalizing a deal with Columbia Picture for the property. Sony, along with Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, will start developing the project from scratch, and with no director attached. John Stevenson had been attached to direct the project previously.
