That is the fourth best three day opening ever behind The Dark Knight ($158.4 million), Spider-Man 3 ($151.1 million), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest ($135.6 million). The $36.7 million Friday total is good for the 10th biggest Friday ever, with The Dark Knight at #1 with $67.1 million.

The film already has the fourth biggest Thursday ever with $28.6 million and the #1 biggest Wednesday ever with $60.6 million.
