- Michael Jackson’s second autopsy apparently showed no signs of foul play, the same result as the first. Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, had requested the second independent autopsy because he suspected foul play in his son’s death. The second autopsy did, however, find “unique and significant marks and injuries” on Jackson’s body. [Credit: Britain's The Sun]

- Michael Jackson was apparently paranoid that somebody was trying to kill him. Prior to his death, Jackson was worried that he would get murdered for his money or the music publishing rights he owned, which included a percentage of over 200 Beatles songs.

Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman said: “He feared somebody wanted to kill him. He was even concerned people would kill him to somehow try to take control of the Beatles back catalogue.”

Oxman also said that some in the Jackson family believe that the people around him were purposely keeping him doped on drugs in order to manipulate him.

“He appeared to be taking a variety of strong narcotics, and many of those drugs were obtained in the names of his staff and associates. While the people around him insist they were acting in his best interest, the drugs were used to control and manipulate Michael - and the drugs eventually killed him. His family has asked Los Angeles police to investigate. A team has already started probing his finances.” [Credit: The Sun]

- Michael Jackson’s family was apparently “horrified” that Joe Jackson appeared on the red carpet prior to the BET Awards on Sunday and promoted his record label.

The Chicago Sun Times newspaper reported: “Sources backstage Sunday night at the BET Awards tell me even Janet Jackson - and other Jackson family members - were ‘really horrified’ when they learned Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, started plugging his new Ranch Records label as he walked the red carpet at the show, which was totally reworked to honor Michael’s memory and legacy.”

Joe said the following to CNN’s Dom Lemon on the red carpet when asked about how Michael’s family was doing following his passing.

“They are all doing fine. But I wanted to make this statement. This is a real good statement here! Marshall and me own a record label called Ranch Records.”

His business partner, Marshall Thompson added: “It’s driven by Blu-ray technology, and that’s his next step.”

Michael and his father have never had a good relationship and it was revealed yesterday that Michael excluded his father from his will, with his entire estate going to his mother, kids, and charity.
