The Latest on Talk Regarding Kurt Angle Returning to WWE
- With rumors of Kurt Angle returning to WWE circulating the internet, ProWrestling.net confirms reports that there was some talk of it within WWE. However, when re-signing Kurt was pitched to Vince McMahon by the WWE creative team, Vince shot the idea down quickly. Vince said he feels Angle was not a “channel changer” and also cited his prescription pill issues. Prior to pitching it to McMahon, the creative team was split on the issue.
Several months ago, a WWE source said that the company would be interested in using Angle on a limited schedule similar to Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, however that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The main concern is whether he would adhere to the Wellness Policy. There are conflicting reports regarding Angle’s current TNA contract. Some say it expires in September, while others are under the impression that there’s another year left on the deal.

Lies. All lies. Angle was one of the biggest draws when he was hot, and if Angle and McMahon saw eye to eye Angle would be working. Marc Middleton or whoever you are, you are a liar.
Dude…No offence to Marc Middleton..But its probably not first hand reported and forwarded on from another source..You can’t blame him for publishing this =/
I would leave it all to speculation until Angle’s contract actually expires but im pretty sure Vince would hire Kurt back without a second thought the guy is a talent any company would want but then again his problem with Jeff Jarrett could be resolved by September or when ever his contract expires it all depends on who Dixie decides she should side with or otherwise we will see the founder of TNA out of a job.
